Information we collect
When you request a quotation or make a booking, we collect the information you provide, including your name, telephone number, email address, pickup and destination addresses, travel dates and times, vehicle preference, passenger and luggage numbers, and special instructions.
We also keep relevant correspondence and booking records. Please provide only the information needed for your enquiry, particularly when entering special instructions.
Required form fields are marked. Without the necessary contact and journey details, we may be unable to provide a quotation or arrange transport.
How we use your information
We use your information to respond to enquiries, prepare quotations, arrange journeys, communicate booking details, allocate drivers and vehicles, manage follow-ups, and maintain business records.
We process information where necessary to take steps at your request, provide our services, meet legal obligations, or pursue legitimate business interests where permitted. Where consent is required, we will request it.
Who receives your information
Relevant information may be shared with authorised staff, assigned drivers and service providers supporting our booking, communication, website and recordkeeping systems. Drivers receive the information needed to carry out your journey.
We may also disclose information where required by law. We do not sell personal information.
Google Sheets and Google account access
Our website uses Formidable Forms and a Google Sheets integration to transfer booking enquiries to our enquiry spreadsheet for administration and follow-up.
An authorised administrator connects a business Google account. The integration uses Google Drive and Google Sheets permissions to list available spreadsheets, read worksheet names and column headings, and write enquiry details to the selected worksheet. Website visitors do not need to connect a Google account.
Google account access is used for this integration. Information obtained through Google APIs is not used for advertising, sold, or transferred to data brokers.
Shuttle GO’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
An administrator can disconnect the integration or revoke access through their Google Account permissions. Revoking access stops future authorised access but does not automatically delete existing booking records.
Storage, security and retention
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information and restrict access to people who need it for their work.
Our technology providers may process information outside South Africa. Where applicable, we require appropriate protection for international transfers.
We retain information for as long as needed for enquiries, bookings, business records and applicable legal requirements. Information no longer required is deleted or anonymised.
Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate details, or deletion of information we no longer need. You may also object to processing or withdraw consent where processing depends on consent. Some records may need to be retained for legal reasons.
